Continuous Ink System DIY KIT for HP Deskjet 2132
You can make Continuous Ink Supply for HP Deskjet 2132 your own existing HP 63 color and black cartridges.
HP 63 color, black cartridges, printer and glue gun are not included.
Including: One four color ink tank with total of 240ml and tubes, four air filters, four syringes, one plastic tube clips, two metal tube clip, four elbow connectors, four packings, one 3.5mm hand drill
1. Peel off stickers on the cartridges and widen the holes indicated at the below picture with a 3.5mm hand drill (Try not to spoil the sponges inside the cartridges.
Open big rubber caps from ink tank and fill syringes with each color inks. Inject 2ml of magenta, cyan, yellow and 4ml of black into corresponding holes on the cartridges like the below picture. (If you are using new cartridges filled with ink already, you do not have to inject ink.)
2. Insert packings into the holes like the below picture and the other holes not connecting to the tubes must be covered with glue.
3. Cut the end of the tube like this. Cyan tube is 1.8cm shorter than Magenta and Yellow tube. Black tube is 2.5cm shorter than Cyan tube.
4. Connect thin part of elbow connectors to tubes like the below picture.
5. Peel off the black tape from the tube then inks goes to the end of the tube.
6. When the inks are reached to the elbow connectors, connect the thick part of the elbow connectors into the corresponding holes on the cartridges like the below picture.
7. After installing cartridges and attach the tube clip like the below picture.(Try not tube to be too tight or too loose if not, tube get stuck inside the printer and printing does not work.)
8. take out tube and close the front door and attach the tube metal clip like the picture and so the front door cannot be open. (It is very important for the front door to be firmly closed. If not, printer shows error message.).
9. Most of ink must be stored in the front space of the ink tank like the below picture.(To make it like that, close all small and big rubber caps and lean the ink tank 90 degree forward and stand the ink tank again then most of the inks are stored in the front space of the ink tank then insert airfilters.) The ink level in the back space must not be more than 2cm from the bottom.
It is ok not to install airfilters to the ink bottle. But you must open four small rubber caps.(It is very important to open four small rubber caps.)
10. Installation is done (The bottom of the ink tank must be the same level of the bottom of the printer. Never put the ink tanks higher than the printer. It is very important.)
Caution
- The bottom of the ink tank must be the same level of the bottom of the printer.
- Try not tube to be too tight or too loose if not, tube get stuck inside the printer and printing does not work.
- Do not worry that the tube is filled with air, If you keep printing, the tube will be filled with inks slowly.
- Even though the printer says than inks are all consumed, Ignore the message and keep printing.
How to set up a constant low ink pressure (very important)
1. Close all the rubber caps.
2. Lay the ink tank like the below.
3. Slowly stand the ink tank.
